Cliff Campbell

Cliff Campbell's work background includes being a General Contractor, Code Enforcement Official, Building Official, Captain in the USAF and working in various lead positions with FEMA. I have always been involved in voluntary civic and military organizations such as Junior Achievement, Boys/Girls Clubs, Boy/Girl Scouts, Civil Air Patrol, Red Cross, Fraternal organizations, Parents Without Partners, City Recreation Departments and various others.

Since joining the Clan Campbell Society my most wanted lifetime achievement has and is to see the Society grow to be the largest in leadership, membership, and in Scottish/Irish education. As Membership Chairman for several years and with my past successful experience in increasing membership with other organizations, I have been somewhat successful in setting an example by helping the State of Florida to bring in more members than any other State and for assisting other States to increase their membership. I have assisted in finding Regional, State and Deputy Commissioners across the country. With the permission of the Society Officers I contacted the Scottish Heritage USA, Inc. and agreed to help promote their programs at all highland events in return for a discount in their membership for all the Society members. This discount helps us bring in many more members. This membership allows free admission to all families and friends to all the Heritage Trust properties in four countries. I have also ended the charging of tent space and tent manager fees at several games by talking to the sponsors and explaining that they need us (the Clan Societies) and we are all volunteers there to help promote them.

I enjoy taking friends to Scotland and Ireland, which I have done four times, and have visited most of historic sites, castles, and enjoyed the Tattoos. I bought some land in Glen Coe thus I hold the title of Lord/Laird and have a brick with my name and address at the tourist center of Culloden Battlefield. It is my hope that by properly training and equipping Commissioners throughout the Society that we may lead all Scots in finding and enjoying their heritage, as in our motto “Ne Obliviscaris” (Forget Not).
